Large-Scale Product Design and Management Conference Launches in Utah
Salt Lake City, UT, June 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Front is the largest product design and management conference to ever be held in Utah, 17-19 June 2015. An inclusive, three-day event of talks, panels, and workshops, this new conference will bring together some of the best talent, thought-leaders, professionals, and artists from around the Wasatch Front to learn, network, and inspire each other to create amazing products.
The conference is presented by Ancestry and also backed by some of the state’s most prominent technology companies, including Experticity, Adobe, Instructure, Pluralsight, Domo, OC Tanner, and Overstock. People want to hear from their peers. They want to be inspired. They want to learn what techniques are working and which are not.
“People aren’t just looking for somebody that’s a motivational speaker,” said cofounder, Wade Shearer recently to Beehive Startups. “They’re looking for real world, in-the-trenches case studies of things that show them how they can actually have a big effect at their company.”
Front is being run by the same group that started the Product Design Association, an active, cross-discipline, volunteer group of over a thousand designers, product managers, UX, entrepreneurs, and technologists that meet regularly for talks, workshops, and networking events.
Shearer continued, “For the past couple of years, we’ve been talking and making plans for this conference and seen so much interest. So we know this is going to be big and successful. Our plan is that this is going to become the premier product design and management conference, at least in the region, but our hope is for it to become the premier conference nationally.”
The event will be held at Infinity Event Center in Salt Lake City. Tickets can be purchased online at frontutah.com. Group discounts are available. In addition to the workshops and main event, it will also include a three-hour after-party/concert Thursday evening, featuring local Utah bands, Fictionist and RKDN.
