Mikogo Announces Cross-Platform Screen Sharing Compatibility with Windows 10
Mikogo’s latest release of its online meeting service, Version 5.2, has been tested successfully on the pre-release version of Microsoft’s Windows 10, making it a sound and reliable screen sharing service with Windows 10 and cross-platform compatibility.
London, United Kingdom, June 05, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Mikogo announced that the latest version of their online screen sharing software is compatible with the much anticipated new Windows 10. As a renowned provider of online meetings for businesses worldwide, and having now announced Windows 10 and cross-platform compatibility along with releasing Version 5.2 of its own software, Mikogo is prepared for a smooth transition for anyone migrating to Windows 10 in the next months.
In an unusual move from the software mogul, Microsoft will be offering the latest version of their software for free to consumers, and that means that millions of users are expected to take advantage of the offer, which is expected to be launched by the end of July 2015.
Mikogo has thoroughly tested the latest version of its application, Version 5.2, and has confirmed that it works flawlessly in the new Windows 10 environment. It was found that Mikogo screen sharing will work in much the same way as it does on existing Windows operating systems.
During intensive testing, Mikogo has ensured that the system is free of bugs on the new Windows 10 operating system. At the same time, the software was tested in cross-platform screen sharing sessions on Windows 10, as well as on older versions of Windows, and on Mac Computers using Mac Retina Displays, including the latest OS X operating system from Apple, Mac Yosemite 10.10.
Mikogo’s functionalities were also put to the test on the new operating system which showed positive results all around. On top of the software’s screen sharing, Mikogo tested and confirms that its main features perform as expected on Windows 10 and between computers running Windows 10, previous versions of Windows and Mac OS X.
"There were no notable differences and users can expect the very same high standards of performance that they are used to when using Mikogo on Windows 10," says Mark Zondler, Co-Founder of Mikogo.
Users wishing to upgrade to Windows 10 and host meetings with Mikogo are encouraged to upgrade to Version 5.2 of the Mikogo screen sharing software, which can be downloaded from http://www.mikogo.com.
