Two Majors Added to Academic Program at Pillar College

Newark, NJ, June 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Board of Trustees of Pillar College is pleased to announce that two new majors have been added to the degree program at Pillar College.

In their regular monthly meeting on June 1, 2015, The New Jersey President’s Council unanimously adopted a resolution authorizing Pillar College to offer the following majors beginning in the fall semester of 2015:

- Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education
- Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Communication

Currently the College offers a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management, Psychology and Counseling and Biblical Studies and an Associate in Biblical Studies Degree as well as a 18 week or 9 month Certificate Program in Christian Ministry.

Dr. David Schroeder, President of Pillar College, asserts that the addition of these majors to the program will enhance the appeal of Pillar College to students who are considering careers in Elementary Education and Intercultural Communication, while continuing to serve students who have full-time ministry vocations in their sights. Registration for fall classes begins immediately.
