Cranston Sets Provincial Super Weight Throw Record
Jody Cranston sets a BC record at the 2015 Seattle Parks Track and Field Championships.
Vancouver, Canada, June 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Strength competitor Jody Cranston won first place in the Super Weight Throw event at the Seattle Parks Track and Field Championships on the weekend.
Cranston, who competes for the Greyhounds Track and Field Club and is coached by Dave McDonald, set the BC Provincial 45-50 Super Weight Throw record by throwing the 56 pound implement 20 feet at the USA Track and Field sanctioned event.
Jody is the owner of "Connection: Corporate Health" - the fitness center in the HSBC Building which is located in financial district of Downtown Vancouver. He is also a co-owner of "Oranj Fitness" which now has four locations; Kelowna BC, Fort McMurray, Calgary and Grande Prairie Alberta.
