Atlanta, GA, June 09, 2015 --(PR.com)-- PrivatePlus Mortgage, a division of Private Bank of Buckhead, has named James Brown a Vice President and Mortgage Banker.

Brown has more than 10 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, and prides himself on providing excellent customer service, as well as on helping clients understand the mortgage process, from credit to closing and more. He also has a special understanding of the home purchase process, having been a licensed real estate agent. Over the years Brown has earned professional recognition ranging from outstanding customer service to being a top producer.
He started in the mortgage industry in 2002 in Oklahoma on the retail side of the business, “falling in love with the ability to help clients realize their dream of homeownership.” He later opened a satellite mortgage company, growing it from a one-man-show to 15 employees. Brown later joined a large bank’s mortgage division, moving to Dallas; he was later recruited by another large mortgage firm that moved him to Atlanta.
“I focus on listening and understanding what clients ultimately want to achieve, so that we can adapt the process, set expectations and ultimately match them with the mortgage scenario that best suits them,” Brown says. He is proficient at originating conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and non-conforming mortgage loans.
Away from work, he enjoys working out and writing stories and scripts. Brown and his wife and son and daughter reside in Marietta with their two dogs, who love rides in the car and dog parks. Both kids are in performing arts, acting, modeling, dancing, singing, writing poetry and participating in sports, along with excellent academic achievements. Both children have acted and modeled on TV shows, movies, commercials and print media. Fun fact: Brown was a gymnast, excelling in floor exercises and he says, yes, he still retains those skills.
