PrivatePlus Mortgage, a division of Private Bank of Buckhead, has named Gary L. Wofford a Vice President and Mortgage Banker. He brings both a depth and breadth of financial and management experience to the role.

Wofford has a broad range of financial and management experience, including having served as the branch manager for a securities firm, and raising funds for a commodities firm. He led the turnaround of one brokerage branch which was subsequently voted most improved of 50 offices worldwide. Wofford also once served as campaign manager for a non-incumbent candidate for mayor of Bloomington, MN, who won the election with a record-setting vote.
He has worked on both the retail and wholesale sides of the mortgage business, and at previous mortgage firms achieved the status of Number One loan officer firm wide and was the overall rate leader at another firm. He has been based on Atlanta since 1990.
