Texal Energy Completes LED Lighting Retrofit for ECS Refining

Dallas, TX, June 13, 2015 --(PR.com)-- As the leader in innovative electronics recycling, offering both end-of-life and asset management services to a variety of markets, ECS Refining was looking to meet new environmental sustainability goals, cut costs, and improve employee conditions at their own facility with a state-of-the-art LED lighting retrofit. ECS Refining selected the energy solution experts at Texal Energy to complete the retrofit to reach their environmental, energy and quality goals.

Texal Energy not only replaced over 1,000 metal halide fixtures with high efficiency T5 LED fixtures in the manufacturing space, but also installed the latest fluorescent technologies including advanced infrared occupancy sensor capabilities able to read motion from over 60 feet at 360°. The project produced a $192,400 return for ECS Refining in the first year and will produce over $642,850 in lifetime energy savings including an annual reduction of over 870,000 kilowatt hours (kWh).
