Online Fancy Dress Retailer, DressingUpBoxOnline Introduces a Mobile and Tablet Friendly Version of Their Website Due to High Mobile Traffic Volumes

Bristol, United Kingdom, June 14, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Online Fancy Dress retailer, www.DressingUpBoxOnline.co.uk has introduced a mobile and tablet friendly version of their popular website due to fifty percent of traffic coming from Mobile devices.

“With the growth in smartphones and tablets, mobile commerce is growing, and all retailers should consider this is they haven’t already,” says Fran, Director of Fancy Dress Fanatics Ltd who owns the website. “Launching a mobile friendly version of DressingUpBoxOnline.co.uk was always one of the first improvements we wanted to make when we took it over. The traffic for the website showed that about half of the visitors were accessing the site via a mobile device, and mobile commerce is now so important. We wanted to make sure our customers get a great experience shopping on our site.”

Currently mobile browsing counts for about 30% of all internet browsing, and it has been growing year one year. The owner of the business, Fran Gore, comes from a mobile commerce background, having previously worked for a company that provided mobile downloads for large brands including Orange and Vodafone.

The company are really happy with the improvements they have made so far, but say they have a lot more improvements they would like to introduce in the near future, to ensure a fantastic experience for their customers, and bringing the site up to date.

Fancy Dress Fanatics Ltd took over the website after the previous owners, who had been running it for about 14 years, decided to retire from the business.
