About Tha Jane Park
Ms. Park is currently retired after 33 years nursing experience. She was a Clinical Nurse responsible for hospital based nursing, mental health and public health nursing. Nursing evolved as a natural job for her as a result of having served as a caretaker for family including her sister who had MS, husband and mother. Ms. Park is especially proud of beginning a Geriatric Program with Mental Health. She was appointed by the county to the Assisted Long Term Care Community Advisory Committee. She has assisted with workshops for long term care staff. Ms. Park was born on January 6, 1932 in South Carolina and obtained a Diploma R.N. from Baptist Hospital. She married Charles Robert (now deceased) on April 4, 1953. In her spare time she enjoys knitting, crafts, exercise and Bingo.
