Golfing for Graham's Foundation Comes to the Tri-State Area for a Second Time
Supporters, parents, and sponsors will gather at Bayonne to golf for prematurity.
Bayonne, NJ, June 15, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Graham’s Foundation (http://GrahamsFoundation.org), the National Prematurity Foundation, is hosting its second annual tri-state area golf outing on Monday, June 29 at the Bayonne Golf Club in Bayonne, New Jersey.
This signature event bring together supporters of the organization's mission - to empower parents of premature babies through support, advocacy and research to improve outcomes for their preemies and themselves.
“We are excited to be hosting our second annual golf outing in the Tri-State area," said Jason Hart, who is a Graham's Foundation Board member, preemie dad, and a Principal at The Carlyle Group. "Having spent 130 days in two different NICUs, including one more than 100 miles from home, I know how trying prematurity is for all families. Thanks to an outstanding lineup of corporate sponsors, this year’s event will bring us closer to fulfilling our mission of making sure no family goes through the prematurity journey alone."
"We are able to do what we do – empower parents of premature babies through support, advocacy, and research – because of the generosity of individuals like Jason Hart," said Nick Hall, who founded the organization with his wife Jennifer in 2009 after experiencing the death of his premature son, Graham, and the terrifying four-month hospital stay endured by Graham's twin, Reece. "And we are extremely grateful to be able to host our second tri-state area event at a beautiful venue like Bayonne Golf Club and for all of the sponsors that make this event, and the funds raised, possible."
Golfing for Graham's Foundation is just one of several signature events that Graham’s Foundation has created to increase awareness of the severe emotional, physical, and financial toll premature birth takes on moms and dads. This outing's sponsors include the National Land Tenure Company, Simpson Thacher, Fidelity National Title Group, as well as Deutsche Bank, Hanover Street Capital, Caro Enterprises, and many more.
