BBB Honors Torch Award Recipients at Bedford Village Inn
BBB’s annual Torch Award Ceremony took place on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Bedford Village Inn. Three NH businesses were honored with a BBB Torch Award.
Concord, NH, June 17, 2015 --(PR.com)-- It was a great night for all who attended the Bedford Village Inn for the 2015 BBB Torch Awards Ceremony, but most of all for the 3 winners of BBB’s coveted award. One winner from three size categories was presented a crystal Torch Award for demonstrating outstanding trust and ethics in the marketplace.
New England Pest Control of NH took home the small category award. They have been in business since 1979 and have stayed a quality business through their focus on customer service while offering residential pest control.
The medium size category award went to Buxton Oil Company located in Exeter, NH. Buxton Oil is dedicated to helping families in need and has co-founded a program, “Kids Who Care” to do exactly that. Through the program, children in the Exeter school system raise funds through bake sales, art shows and contributions to help Buxton Oil donate over $79,000 worth of heating to those less fortunate.
Visiting Angels received the large category award. Their company theme of “Creating a Culture of Caring” reflects how the agency trains, empowers and rewards their caregivers. This mentality was instrumental in Visiting Angels of Auburn NH winning the national Visiting Angels corporate competition for best practices in the area of caregiver recruitment and retention.
Alongside the Torch Award Winners, BBB presented $2,000 scholarships to five New Hampshire students furthering their education.
BBB congratulates all recipients and thanks everyone who attended.
