Murphy Distributors Adds Vintage Cowboy Winery to Its Exclusive Distribution List

New Haven, CT, June 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Murphy Distributors announced today it has obtained the exclusive distribution rights to Vintage Cowboy Winery products of Santa Margarita, California for the State of Connecticut.

Vintage Cowboy Winery was inspired by the Arnold's family heritage of cowboys, western lifestyle, their love for ranching and a passion for wine in San Luis Obispo County. They nurture the belief in cowboy values and keeping the western way of life alive. For five generations the Arnold family has lived and worked on the original ranch land in Pozo, raising beef cattle, horses, and farming a variety of crops. Joey Arnold and sister Michelle Pascoe have been making wine from their family's estate for over 10 years. They planted a 32 acre vineyard in 1995. The vineyard sits beneath the Santa Lucia Mountain Range where it benefits from the coastal influence coming through the mountain passes. The extreme temperature fluctuation during the growing season results in uniquely flavorful wines.

"There are four wines currently available from Vintage Cowboy Vineyard, focusing on three different red varietals - Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel," said Murphy.

The 2013 CHARDONNAY offers a bright aroma of pineapple, pear and lemon zest while the crisp Grenache Blanc is complimented by bright flavors of grapefruit and ripe melon.

The 2012 Merlot is a complex wine of rose, plum, and cherry blossom aromas and has a velvety taste of toasted coconut, baked caramel, and sweet spice.

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is medium bodied and boasts distinctive aromas of fresh black cherry, vanilla and wild black berries.

2011 Zinfandel resembles a dark nose of savory plum, toasted coconut and sweet cinnamon spice with a taste of raspberry and baked caramel.
