GBMP Moving Headquarters
GBMP relocating to Newton, MA; Operations to begin at new site on Monday, June 29, 2015.
Boston, MA, June 19, 2015 --(PR.com)-- GBMP, Inc. is excited to announce the relocation of their corporate headquarters, effective June 29, 2015. The new facility at 60 Austin Street, Suite 102, Newton, MA 02460 is conveniently located just minutes from Interstates 90 and 95, and includes a dedicated training space and improved facilities and systems projected to streamline processes and prepare for future growth and opportunities.
"This move to our new location is a very exciting time for all of our associates, who are working diligently to make this transition seamless," said President Bruce Hamilton. "GBMP has had a long successful history at the UMass Boston campus. While we will maintain strong ties to the UMB College of Management, moving off campus to larger quarters will give us more space for a growing staff as well as a dedicated training area for customer workshops."
The Greater Boston Manufacturing Partnership was founded as a not-for-profit corporation in 1994 with a charter to improve the competitiveness of small and medium-sized manufacturers in the greater Boston community. Since that time, GBMP has broadened its community to all northeast states, while concentrating its expertise to Lean and Six Sigma training and implementation. Additionally, in 2009 GBMP expanded its services to Lean/ Six Sigma in healthcare, which now comprises more than thirty percent of GBMP's clients. By promoting successful Lean transformations, GBMP helps to perpetuate a positive future for industry and healthcare in the Northeast.
Since the release of the award-winning "Toast Kaizen" lean training video in 2004, GBMP has produced more than 30 lean training DVDs, books, manuals and training simulations to aid customers world-wide on their journey to operational excellence. These are available at www.shopgbmp.org. Most recently, GBMP launched its Lean in Healthcare website (www.GBMPHealthcare.org) and is now taking registrations for its 11th Annual Northeast L.E.A.N. Conference (www.NortheastLeanConference.org) on September 29-30, 2015 in Springfield, MA.
GBMP anticipates seamlessly serving its members, customers and clients during the transition. Business will be conducted as usual in the current facility through Thursday, June 25, 2015. The office will close for one day, Friday, June 26, 2015 and will reopen for business as usual on Monday, June 29, 2015 in the new location.
