Center For Sight Hosts Over 100 Optometric Physicians at the Second Annual CE Sarasota Spring Symposium
Sarasota, FL, June 25, 2015 --(PR.com)-- For the second year, Center For Sight and industry partners hosted the CE Sarasota Spring Symposium to provide continuing education to optometric physicians in order to meet the requirements of their licensure.
This year’s symposium’s presentations were “Prevention of Medical Errors: A Root Cause Analysis Approach,” “What a Pain! Common Causes & Management of Ocular Pain in the Optometric Practice,” “Clinical Updates in Ophthalmology,” “Florida Jurisprudence 2015,” and “Ocular Manifestations of Rheumatoid Diseases.”
David W. Shoemaker, M.D., William J. Lahners, M.D., FACS, William L. Soscia, M.D., Joshua W. Kim, M.D., William J. Mestrezat, M.D., M. Brandon Parrott, M.D., Ph.D. and John P. Fezza, M.D. all attended the event and presented updates to the group.
What’s important about this CE event, is that without Center For Sight and other industry partners supporting it in one location, the optometric physicians would have to take classes all over the state or online to get all the hours they need to maintain their licenses. With this event every year, they can get it all done in one day in one place!
All optometric physicians in the state of Florida are welcome and encouraged to attend this event. Next year’s event is also planned for May.
For additional information on the event, becoming a sponsor, or an attendee, contact Julie Peirce – jpeirce@centerforsight.net or (941) 993-8995.
