Sarasota Youth Opera to Hold Open House
Members of the Sarasota community will have the opportunity to get a sneak peek at the workings of the Sarasota Youth Opera.
Sarasota, FL, December 01, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Members of the Sarasota community will have the opportunity to get a peek into a Day in the Life of the Sarasota Youth Opera on Wednesday, December 12.
The free open house will feature a performance by the Youth Opera Chorus. Several of the singers will speak about their experiences in the program, and there will be punch and cookies for all. The event begins at 6 p.m. and is open to all members of the public – adults and their children. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. No tickets are required.
The open house will be held in the Peterson Great Room of Sarasota Opera House, 61 N. Pineapple Avenue, Sarasota. Enter through the door with the green awning on the building adjacent to the Opera House.
The Sarasota Youth Opera Choruses will perform under the direction of Youth Opera Music Director Lance Inouye. The program is administered by Becky Taylor, Director of Youth Opera Programs.
