Stephens, Anderson & Cummings Announces Scholarship for Higher Education Award Winners
The firm's commitment to academic excellence has led Stephens, Anderson & Cummings to award scholarships to two deserving Tarrant County seniors.
Fort Worth, TX, June 24, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Stephens, Anderson & Cummings is proud to award two $500 Scholarships for Higher Education to Jessica Olmedo & Megan Guynes, two outstanding students in Tarrant County.
Known as active members of their respective student bodies, Olmedo is a graduating senior at Chisholm Trail High School, and Guynes is a graduating senior at Saginaw High School.
Both have demonstrated their determination and commitment to continuing their education and becoming exceptional leaders in their communities.
Qualifying high school seniors submitted a 500 to 1500 word essay sharing how their childhood experiences influenced their decision to pursue college and further their education.
“It was inspiring to read the essays by so many gifted students in this area,” said Jason Stephens, of Stephens, Anderson & Cummings.
“While very difficult to pick just two scholarship recipients, we are truly delighted with the 2015 Stephens, Anderson & Cummings Scholarship for Higher Education Award winners this year, Jessica Olmedo and Megan Guynes. These two young ladies exemplify the motivation and drive needed to thrive in today’s competitive business climate, which assures me they will succeed in the next step of their education.”
This marks the inaugural year for the scholarship that will be offered annually for Tarrant County students to cultivate, encourage and support exceptional leadership and achievement.
Stephens, Anderson & Cummings remains committed to providing bright and motivated students with opportunities to further their education.
