United Systems Announces Merger with Entech
Customer service philosophy impresses Fort Myers-based IT provider.
Bradenton, FL, June 25, 2015 --(PR.com)-- David Spire, CEO of United Systems, is pleased to announce the Bradenton, Fla.-based IT consulting and solutions company has entered into a partnership with Fort Myers-based Entech Computer Services. The new entity, known as Entech, will now expand their immediate onsite service area from the Tampa Bay area south to Marco Island. They will also continue to remotely support clients nationwide.
United System’s 13-member team will merge with Entech’s 16 experienced engineers, administrators, advisors and strategists, representing a synergy of talent, infrastructure and services that is expected to benefit existing and new customers of both companies. United Systems CEO David Spire will maintain an ownership interest in Entech and help drive future growth as Chief Development Officer & Senior Executive Vice President. The combined company plans to add several new jobs in the immediate future.
In recent years United Systems has established itself as a leader in managed IT services, internet security and cloud computing, and has grown its revenues and staff even during times of economic uncertainty. Even more impressive to Entech, which itself is ranked in the top 5% nationally in terms of response and resolution time, is United Systems’ extreme focus on customer service and a company culture that closely mirrors its own “Golden Rule-based” operational ethics.
As part of its overall growth strategy, Entech contracted with a third-party service to conduct a regional search to identify companies that would be good candidates for merging personnel and systems. A compatible business culture was heavily weighted in the provider’s due diligence, based on Entech’s parameters, along with many factors related to technical expertise and systems compatibility. The company conducted an extensive survey of every qualifying company’s client base, and out of hundreds of candidates, United Systems garnered the highest customer satisfaction scores ever recorded, according to the vetting company.
Just as United Systems brings unique capabilities, especially in terms of security for the medical field, Entech brings vast experience and resources for serving the manufacturing industry, for instance, which is growing rapidly across Florida. On June 16, 2015 Entech was presented the Small Business of the Year award by the Bonita Springs Chamber of Commerce for its dedication, achievement, entrepreneurial spirit and community involvement. United Systems was similarly honored with the Manatee Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the year award in July of 2011. Even more impressive is that both companies appeared on the 2015 MSPMentor 501 list, a globally recognized list of the best managed services providers (MSPs) in the world.
United Systems President & CEO David Spire, a Bradenton native, said, “Following a period of rapid growth over the past few years, it is a natural next step to merge United Systems’ considerable assets, in terms of technology and personnel, with Entech. With our gains in revenue, infrastructure and employees, we have received numerous offers for partnerships and purchase of our company. Entech’s unique focus on business ethics and culture, which includes a stellar customer service record, made them a natural fit for us.”
Spanberger said, “In developing our long-term strategic plan of growth through mergers and acquisition, we considered our clients’ and employees’ needs and goals to be our top priority. Our exhaustive search led us to United Systems. We couldn’t have imagined a better fit between the two companies in terms of resources and company culture. We’ll be looking for similar synergies as we continue to grow through M&A in the future.”
