Humanitas Media Publishing Releases Journey to the Heart of the World, a Parable of Environmental and Indigenous Wisdom

Journey to the Heart of the World, a parable reminiscent of Paulo Coelho, has just been released by Humanitas Media Publishing from author John Lundin, whose last book was written in association with H.H. the Dalai Lama.

New York, NY, June 25, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Humanitas Media Publishing (http://www.humanitasmedia.com), an independent publisher of such authors as award-winning Western poet/playwright Red Shuttleworth and Hemingway great-granddaughter, Cristen Hemingway Jaynes, has announced the release for its next offering, Journey to the Heart of the World, a Paulo Coelho-reminiscent work of fiction by author John Lundin.

Lundin, having previously written The New Mandala: Eastern Wisdom for Western Living in collaboration with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, has with this work, turned to fiction for a parable about humanity, indigenous wisdom, and the need for a more profound consciousness when it comes to environmental issues and spiritual insights necessary to not just survive, but thrive in a challenging world.

The book, written over the last three years while Lundin has lived in Colombia, will be available via Kindle exclusively beginning today; the print release for the book will take place later in 2015.

Additionally, a portion of proceeds from the work will be going to work in the region to preserve both the indigenous culture and the environment of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta where these tribes reside.
