Provo, UT, June 27, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Career Step, an online provider of career-focused education and corporate training, is pleased to announce that its online Pharmacy Technician training program has received approval from the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy and is being distributed through Career Step’s regional partners: Normandale Community College, St. Cloud State University and Winona State University.
“Our goal is always to provide the very best training for our students,” said Jerolyn Robertson, Career Step Vice President of Academics. “In the case of Minnesota, we have worked very hard to ensure our curriculum meets and exceeds the requirements set forth for individuals pursuing a pharmacy technician career in the state. As students take our training program through our academic partners, they will receive all of the training and skills they need to ensure their preparation to move into the workforce as pharmacy technicians in Minnesota.”
The Career Step Pharmacy Technician training program offers 310 hours of online curriculum to prepare students for the field. It is one of the few online programs approved by the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy. The program also incorporates feedback from employers and prepares students to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam upon graduation.
Students in Minnesota interested in Career Step’s Pharmacy Technician program are encouraged to enroll through one of Career Step’s academic partners. Partners include Normandale Community College, St. Cloud State University and Winona State University.
“Academic partnerships provide us the opportunity to share our career-focused curriculum through institutions that are trusted within individual communities,” said Ryan Ewer, Vice President of Academic Partnerships. “Within Minnesota we’re particularly excited about these partnerships because, with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy’s approval, these schools can now offer students a streamlined way to prepare for careers as pharmacy technicians.”
