About Wendy L. Walter, LPN, EMTP, CMT
Ms. Walter has almost 35 years experience in the healthcare field. She is a LPN, EMTP and CMT at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. She is responsible for hemodialysis. Ms. Walter treats and educates lower income status patients as well as assists with health, food, clothing and daily needs. She also runs a support group. She assists with many community events including clothing drives, organizing parties, assisting with events for The Challenger League for mentally and physically handicapped individuals and organizing charity dinners. Ms. Walter lectures on celiac disease. She served on the County Recreation Authority for Wolf Township and helped to turn 76 acres of donated property into what is now the Lime Bluff Recreation area. She served as the Secretary for 10 years. Ms. Walter started a coat drive while with a previous employer. They collected over 200 coats that were washed and distributed to fellow employees and the homeless throughout the City of Williamsport. She is affiliated with the N.S.O. Ms. Walter obtained a L.P.N. from Danville in 1979. In her spare time she enjoys art, painting, drawing, antique auctions, music, guitar, saxophone, collecting depression and carnival glass and her dog.
