Wanderful Announces Women in Travel Summit (WITS) 2017 Destination Contest

Chicago, IL, June 30, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Wanderful, a global network for women travelers, has announced the launch of the WITS ’17 Destination Contest, an opportunity for tourism boards around the United States to compete to host the Women in Travel Summit in 2017.

Four finalists will be chosen to exhibit their destination as a great place for female travelers at the upcoming Women in Travel Summit 2016. Attendees will vote for their favorite destination and a winner will be selected live on stage at the WITS closing ceremony. They will then host the following year’s summit, showing off their destination to 500 female influencers and media professionals and receiving a sponsorship package worth US $10,000.

WITS is the first and only travel blogging summit by and for women. WITS educates, inspires and connects female travel bloggers together, while also providing a forum for bloggers and travel brands to grow relationships with each other. WITS ‘16 will be held at the Hotel Irvine in Irvine, California, March 18-20, 2016.

This is Wanderful’s third-annual summit, with previous host cities being Chicago and Boston. The company expects 500 bloggers and industry executives from all over the world to join for its third event.
