Ho, Ho, Ho. Holiday Gifts Go Directly to a Good Cause
Marshfield Boys and Girls Club to host a Holiday Online Auction.
Marshfield, MA, December 01, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Looking for an HD TV? Sony PSP? iPod? How about tickets to a sporting event, golf outing or a gift certificate to a local restaurant, spa or salon?
Consider buying your holiday gifts at auction and help a good cause at the same time.
The non-profit Marshfield Boys and Girls Club is holding a Holiday Online Auction through December 8th.
Bidding is easy. Simply visit their website - www.MarshfieldBoysAndGirlsClub.com - and register. Then, let the bidding begin. When bidding closes, the highest bidder is alerted that he/she may pick up their item at the Marshfield Boys and Girls Club office located at 1837 Ocean Street. Bank checks, cash and credit cards are accepted for payment upon pick-up.
All of the proceeds go directly to Marshfield Boys and Girls Club and will support programming and Club scholarships for the community’s youth.
Funds raised will also be put towards new space, as the 1,000-member strong club is seeking a larger space in which to operate. Currently, the Marshfield Boys and Girls Club operates in a 4,000 square-foot storefront space at Library Plaza.
The Marshfield Boys and Girls Club provides the Marshfield and area youth between the ages of 6-18 with enrichment and recreation programs in a safe environment.
According to Greg Jackson, the club's executive director, “Our holiday online auction offers the community a great way to support the Marshfield Boys and Girls Club – by shopping for holiday gifts. Everyone involved will benefit.”
The Marshfield Boys and Girls Club thanks Circuit City for their generous donations and American Computer Technologies (ACT) of Marshfield for their technical assistance and direction.
