Zyrobotics Participates in NeuroLaunch Accelerator Program

Atlanta, GA, July 01, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Zyrobotics, a leading assistive technology company, was one of five companies selected to participate in the NeuroLaunch accelerator program this summer. NeuroLaunch is the world’s first accelerator program for early-stage startups relating to medicine, neuroscience and anything that has to do with the brain. They provide early-stage start-ups with mentors, classes, investor and seed funding to accelerate company growth.
With numerous applicants from all over the nation, to be among the five companies chosen is an honor. Twenty-four days into the program, founder Dr. Ayanna Howard states, “So far, NeuroLaunch has been instrumental in helping us to better understand the medical landscape, including what we need to do to move forward in securing FDA approval and a reimbursable code for our robot therapy technologies.”
The Zyro robot therapy system, which combines Zumo, a physical manipulative for encouraging 3-D movement in space, and a social robot therapy coach, are just a few ways in which Zyrobotics seeks to address the gap within the therapy and rehabilitation sectors in the pediatric healthcare domain. With the experience derived from the NeuroLaunch accelerator program, Zyrobotics is diving deep into the health and medical ecosystem and amassing the knowledge that they need to get their therapy products and services to those who need it the most.
