Acex Alliance Participated in Forum "TransSiberia 2015"
The main transport event connected with the logistics in Siberia took place on May 27-30.
Moscow, Russia, July 03, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Miroslav Zolotarev, the Head of ACEX Alliance, discussed opportunities for regional logistics development with participation of ACEX Alliance members at the conference “Objectives for regional transport and logistics infrastructure development under current economic conditions” within the framework of Siberian forum.
The event organizer was the Union of transport, forwarding and logistics companies of Siberia (STELS) with whom ACEX Alliance cooperates on the logistics issues in the Siberian region.
During the conference the main attention was paid to prospects of regional logistics platforms development in particular the transport hub in Novosibirsk. According to Sergey Maksimov, the President of STELS there are 746 thousand square meters of warehouses of A class in Novosibirsk with the opportunity to handle cargo flow of the whole region. Still at present over 50% of cargo flow is not imported through Novosibirsk.
“Acquaintance with the transport market of Siberia as well as establishment of business relations with local association of logistics companies were the main goals of ACEX Alliance participation in the event,” comments Miroslav Zolotarev the Chairman of ACEX Alliance.
A whole series of negotiations have been conducted within the framework of the forum: on the matter of cooperation with STELS with Sergey Maximov; on the question of cooperation between ACEX Alliance and the Freight forwarders association of the Russian Federation with Yury Sitkov the director of the Association; on the question of joint participation in the exhibition Innoprom on July 9, 2015 in Yekaterinburg with Sergey Shavzis the President of the Ural logistics association. Sergey Shavzis made a report on prospects of the “east container route” laying from China to the European part through Yekaterinburg at the conference. The cost price of this route will be equal to the delivery by sea through the European ports but the time of delivery will be more advantageous.
The heads of the Alliance and the airport of Novosibirsk conducted negotiations on cargo flow development with the Russian and foreign members of the Alliance via Tolmachevo airport which is a prospective multimodal transit hub.
The Logistics Committee of the CCI of Russia organized a visiting session where the development of the logistics industry in Siberia and other Russian regions was discussed.
Oleg Dunaev the chairman of the Logistics Committee of the CCI of Russia noted in his report that the transport and logistics companies should manage cargo flow on the basis of information technologies and in cooperation with foreign operators. At present the vector of economic development in Russia is directed first of all at cooperation with Asian countries, Asian-Oceanic countries as well as with China thought the main technologies come from Europe mostly from Germany.
During the conference it was mentioned that the logistics and transport market in Russia needs both West technologies and cargo flows which will be controlled by the Russian companies having roots, resources and assets in Russia.
“ACEX Alliance will be able to become a connecting link between high-tech West European companies and the logistics companies working on the goods markets in Asia,” states Miroslav Zolotarev the head of the Alliance, “Business contacts gained at the conference will surely be useful for ACEX Alliance members to resolve possible problems connected with the logistics in Siberia.”
