Renalogic, Inc. Relocates to Phoenix, Debuts New Brand & Services
Reboot reflects evolution of dialysis cost containment company into an industry-leading provider of chronic kidney disease data analysis, management solutions and consultative services.
Phoenix, AZ, July 09, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Dialysis Cost Containment, Inc. (DCC) today announced it has changed its name to Renalogic, Inc. The new name comes as a result of the company’s evolution into a comprehensive end-to-end suite of consultative services designed to manage the full spectrum of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Along with the name change, the company has re-launched its website renalogic.com and moved its corporate offices to Phoenix.
Founded as DCC 13 years ago, Renalogic has been long regarded as the cost containment leader in the self-funded insurer marketplace with its unique approach to containing dialysis costs. Now, Renalogic has applied that experience and expertise with CKD to offer comprehensive solutions that promote positive care management outcomes and the highest savings possible, while maximizing the quality of people’s lives.
The new name will reflect the evolving focus and standards of the company.
“A paradigm shift is occurring within this area of healthcare and we all need to look at how risk is being identified and measured. Knowing what is driving healthcare costs is such a critical risk management issue for all employers these days,” said Lisa Greenblott, Renalogic President and CEO. “Given End Stage CKD historically has been a top three cost driver for over a decade and rising, how we view managing the cost and care of these members must be viewed through a whole new lens. This chronic disease group largely goes undetected until they become acute and extremely costly to the system. Targeted early detection and intervention programs that focus on the overall health of the kidneys is the only way to meaningfully impact these members’ lives, and create a positive outcome in the process while significantly reducing the cost of care. This is what Renalogic is all about.”
“The name change more accurately reflects what we have been doing now for several years. Our relocation to Phoenix is a result of this expanded product offering while allowing us to be more accessible to our market,” added Greenblott.
In addition to its traditional cost-containment services, Renalogic’s CKD Management program is designed to control the health and cost impact of CKD, with an emphasis on screening, early CKD-specialized interventions, and education and awareness about the silent disease of CKD, along with alternatives and options for dialysis treatment.
“Incorporating this approach has been shown to reduce hospitalizations, boost members’ quality of life, extend survival, and lower costs,” concluded Greenblott.
