Hydrogen Group Joins the JP Morgan Run to Support AGE UK
Hydrogen Group joins 699 London companies in the JP Morgan Challenge to support worthy charity.
London, United Kingdom, July 13, 2015 --(PR.com)-- For the fourth successive year Team Hydrogen Group – this year represented by 58 hopefuls decked in stylish Hydrogen purple– completed the JP Morgan 5.6K Corporate Challenge. Hydrogen joined runners from HSBC, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley; Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and many other London businesses.
In total, 699 companies took the challenge in beautiful, sunny Battersea Park. Over two nights, 29,017 runners, sprinted, galloped, walked and puffed to benefit AGE UK.
Undeterred by the tube strike, the Hydrogen team was cheered on by representatives of the Legal, Technology, Business Transformation, Finance, Life Sciences and Oil & Gas practices, who took a very active role in the celebratory BBQ that followed.
Hydrogen’s Simon ‘Speedy Gonzalez‘ Jahnz, finished in 22:33, in 902 place, and just 6 min behind the fastest male, Nicholas Torry of Commerzbank AG. Our very own HR wizard, Jenny McGiven clocked an impressive 24:33 crossing the finish line as the 81st female and less than 5 min behind Stephanie Davis of King Street (Europe) LLP, the first female finisher.
Once he regained his breath, Ian Temple our CEO commented: “We have participated in the JP Morgan run for several years with teams from our offices in Singapore, Sydney and London. It is a great day out, with colleagues and clients that also benefits a great cause.”
