Holly L. Keaster Recognized by Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Publication

About Holly L. Keaster
Ms. Keaster has 28 years experience in the education field. She is a Special Education Teacher in the Delta Greely School District. Ms. Keaster taught for 4 years in Pahokee, FL where she taught high school math. In 2006 she moved to Tununak, AK where she taught Yupik Eskimo middle and high school students all subjects except Reading. In 2009 she moved to Juneau, AK where she taught high school math for 1 year and worked with special education students for 1 year. In 2011 she moved to Delta Junction, AK where she is a Special Education Teacher. Over the last few years she has worked with grades 4 through 8. Ms. Keaster is affiliated with the National Education Association and the Council for Exceptional Children. She was nominated for Teacher of the Year 2014-2015 for the Delta Greely School District. She was the Union Representative for the National Education Association from 1987 through 1990 and 2014 to present. Ms. Keaster is especially proud of having been the commencement speaker for the 2011 graduation class in Tununak, Alaska. She was born in Kerhonkson, New York and obtained a Masters of Arts in Teaching from SUNY Cortland in 1987 and a M.A. in Special Education at the University of Alaska Southeast in 2013. She married Art Keaster on May 26, 2015 and they have two children. In her spare time Ms. Keaster enjoys travel, art collecting and brain games on the computer.
