Danny Green Trio Thrills California Coast

San Diego, CA, July 15, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Award-winning jazz pianist and OA2 Recording Artist Danny Green will tour the California coast from August 6 through 13 in the following cities to promote his new album After The Calm:

August 6 – Sonoma County - Sally Tomatoes Cafe (6:00 pm)
August 7 – San Francisco - Red Poppy Art House (7:30 pm)
August 8 – Oakland - Avonova Studios (8:00 pm)
August 9 – Santa Cruz - Don Quixote’s International Music Hall (7:00 pm)
August 10 – Santa Barbara - SOhO Restaurant (7:30 pm)
August 11 – Los Angeles - The Blue Whale (9:00 pm)
August 13 – San Diego - Dizzy’s (7:30 pm)

Concert details can be found at www.dannygreen.net/calendar. The Danny Green Trio will be performing August 7-9 with acclaimed saxophonist Harvey Wainapel and August 10-11 as a co-bill with flutist Rebecca Kleinmann and the Jason McGuire Trio.

Hailed as “one of the important up-and-comers on the scene today” by All About Jazz, Green is one of Southern California’s most prolific and talented jazz pianists. Using a brilliant blend of jazz, Brazilian, Latin, and classical elements, Green’s unique music engages listeners with evocative melodies and infectious rhythms. The virtuosic trio includes bassist Justin Grinnell and drummer Julien Cantelm. Green is the recipient of the 2009 San Diego Music Award for Best Jazz Album and nominated in 2014 for Best Jazz Artist.
