Dr. Adam John Appointed to Chief Executive Officer of eduKan Consortium
After an extensive search by the eduKan Board of Directors, Adam K. John Ph.D. MBA, has been appointed to CEO of the award-winning consortium to support six community colleges in Kansas and manage the online technology platform.
Great Bend, KS, July 16, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Adam John has been appointed to Chief Executive Officer of the eduKan Consortium in Great Bend, Kansas effective June 1st, 2015.
In his new position, Dr. John will provide leadership for all online instruction, student learning and support areas, in addition to serving as an integral member of the consortia’s executive team. He will continue to advance eduKan’s award-winning, online learning platform by developing and implementing new, interactive programs using cost-effective tools to support the thousands of students enrolled in distance education from the six member colleges.

Most recently, Dr. John has been an administrator in higher education and serving as the Vice President of a non-profit college system in Overland Park, Kansas. His experience includes educational operations that include in-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations, fiscal responsibility, accreditation compliance, development of innovative educational systems be it online or hybrid. Additional prior professional expertise includes being a campus director working with students for a positive campus experience, and increasing enrollments with a positive communication program and partnership with students, faculty and staff.
Dr. John is also well versed in learning management systems, video lecture tools, mobile applications and technologies, Google Apps and TK20 for measuring student satisfaction and outcomes.
Dr. John holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Education with an Emphasis in Higher Education Leadership from Capella University, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah and an Associate of Science in Social Science from Salt Lake Community College.
