Morton Grove Chamber Invites Active Service Personnel and Veterans to Its 37th Annual Golf Outing
The Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce cordially invites all Active Service Personnel and Veterans to join them for the 36th Annual Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce & Industry Golf Outing on September 16, 2015.
Morton Grove, IL, August 13, 2015 --(PR.com)-- In honor of the service to the United States of America, and as a way of saying “thank you” to all active and veteran men and women of the armed services, the Morton Grove Chamber (a participant in the Chamber for Good association) is providing a special package just for those who are currently in (or veterans of) the military. Invitations were sent to over a dozen area representatives from the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard.
The Chamber is offering a full day at the Chevy Chase Country Club (1000 N Milwaukee Avenue, Wheeling, IL) with a golf, lunch and dinner at $95 per person, a savings of $55 from the regular cost. Those interested in just attending the dinner can do so for $30 per person (a savings of $10 per person). Those who want to make reservations should contact the Chamber’s Golf Committee at 847-965-0330 or director@mgcci.org by September 4, 2015
The Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce will also donate a portion of this year's raffle sales to the American Legion Post 134 for their support of various charities in appreciation to those who are serving (or have served) their country.
Jeannine Como, the President of the Chamber said, “We are happy to once again open up our event to honor and give back to those men and women who have done so much to serve their country” and went on to add “I look forward seeing business leaders and veterans together on September 16th at our event, even if it is just the dinner for those not wanting to golf.”
