Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce's 37th Golf Outing a Success
The 37th Annual Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Golf Outing was a success, exceeding the expectations of the Board and Golf Committee with a higher number of golfers, people attending dinner and the volume of sponsorship and raffle ticket sales.
Morton Grove, IL, September 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Morton Grove Chamber's 37th Annual Golf Outing exceeded the expectations of the Board of Directors and Golf Committee this year. Held at the Chevy Chase Country Club (1000 N Milwaukee Avenue in Wheeling, IL) the day started early with golfers checking in and having lunch together at 11:00am The shotgun start to the day began about Noon with the golfers being joined by non-golfers alike for cocktails and dinner that started about 5:30 pm.
Chamber of Commerce President, Jeannine Como said, "I truly appreciate to all those who supported this event, whether by golfing, attending the dinner or purchasing raffle tickets," and went on to say, "Without our sponsors and donors who contributed cash and prizes, the raffle would not have been the outstanding success it was." She went on to thank this year’s Golf Committee for all their hard work which included Mark Albers, Dale Ashcraft, Carl Graf, Debbie Manno, Nick Marino and Andy Omeragic.

The Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce provided a check from a portion of the raffle ticket sales to the American Legion Post 134 for their support of various charities which support those who are serving (or have served) their country.
As a “Chamber for Good” member, the Morton Grove Chamber is helping bring individuals, organizations and businesses together to achieve great things for charitable causes within our community and has pledged to make charitable giving a component in all of their events.
