Speecharoo Apps Asks the Million-Dollar Question: Can a Kangaroo Really Teach Kids to Listen?

One of those surprises comes at the end of every scene when kids get to pop the balloons which float up in the air out of Kit the Kangaroo's pouch.
Adds Stulz: "Kids love being rewarded for a job well done as much as adults do. It's this type of positive reinforcement that resonates long after the game is over."
What also seems to be resonating is the app's favorable reviews. Jennifer Volpe, a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and certified Learning Specialist who is also the Co-founder of NY-based "Speak, Learn, and Play," had this to say about "Funny Directions": "Our kids love the interactive graphics and sound effects so much they forget they are working on listening skills. This app is great for both therapy treatment plans or for at-home practice."
There's no question this highly entertaining, very funny game helps kids practice listening and following directions. But will it make them more likely to put away their toys?
