This year’s show will be bigger and better for The Geekies and the proof is in the hangar; the Santa Monica Airport Barker Hanger to be exact. The Geekie Awards announced that the live awards ceremony will be broadcast internationally on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from the 40,000 sq. ft. hangar, where the nominees will learn if they will become the newest recipients of a Geekie Award. The hangar will also allow for more space for guests and interaction, as The Geekies estimates an attendance of 3,000+ at this year’s event.

Now that the nominees have been selected, The Geekie Awards needs you, the public, to choose the winners. Public online voting will open in August, allowing you, the viewer, to be able to vote for your favorite creators and decide who wins. The award show by Geeks for Geeks is living up to its motto through more audience participation and incorporating input from fans.
