SF-Based Marketing Agency LAtelier Marketing Launches Video Department, Adds Creative Director
San Francisco, CA, July 20, 2015 --(PR.com)-- LAtelier Marketing, a marketing agency working with companies in the Internet of Things, Robotics and Smart Machines, today announced the launch of a new video department, LAtelier videos. LAtelier videos will expand the company’s product offerings to better answer customers’ need for rich and engaging content. The new department will be led by Jacob Beemer, former director of Jason Calacanis' This Week in Startups podcast, who joins the company as Co-founder and Creative Director.
“Jacob is a fantastic addition to the team,” says Doriane Mouret, Co-founder and CEO of LAtelier. “His experience directing documentaries and podcasts combined with his talent and creativity makes him an amazing storyteller. And with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter starting to support video natively, video content is quickly becoming the main channel of communication between brands and people.”
In fact, visitors spend 88% more time on a website that has video content, and 64% of people are more likely to buy a product after watching a video about it. By adding video to their assets, LAtelier will provide its clients with more ways to reach, engage and retain their audience.
Founded in April of this year, LAtelier creates high-quality marketing with transparent pricing to companies in innovative industries such as the Internet of Things, Renewable Energy, Robotics, Wearable Devices and Artificial Intelligence. Products include market research, strategy, branding, video production, content creation, website design and development, social media management and analysts relations.
After only a few months of operations, LAtelier’s clients include many startups working on innovative products that make our world better, such as smart chargers for electric vehicles or speech recognition and feedback for language learners.
“I am excited to join LAtelier and bring my experience as a director to create short films that tell stories people want to hear,” says Jacob Beemer. “Videos are what LAtelier needs to provide our clients with a full spectrum of content.”
While traditional marketing agencies usually outsource video production, LAtelier will now have the benefit of creating all content in-house. “We can now tell a story that is carried from a written post to an infographic to a video, reinforcing our customers’ brand image and giving final viewers the choice to read, listen or watch,” says Doriane Mouret.
