Puritan Productions is Announcing a New Play "A Wretch Like Me" the Story of Grace, Amazing Grace in Garland, Texas. Premiers in October 2015.

Following the acclaimed performances of The Pilgrim's Progress in the Fort Worth Cultural Arts District and the Garland Arts Center, Puritan Productions premieres "A Wretch Like Me" The Story of Amazing Grace, in historical drama, with ballet and chorus. This play is based on the biography of John Newton (1725-1807), an Anglican clergyman and former slave ship master. John Newton is perhaps best known as the author of the world-famous hymn, Amazing Grace.

We endeavor to motivate Christian artists to create, produce, and perform theatrical productions that communicate biblical truth, share the Gospel of saving faith through Jesus Christ, and motivate people to biblical living; to provide an opportunity for Christians to exercise their artistic abilities, and further develop those God-given talents for even greater use in the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; to develop within the greater Dallas Fort Worth community a sincere culture of distinctly classical Christian art and artists; to provide the greater Dallas Fort Worth community a distinctly Christian alternative to other artistic and musical cultural choices; to provide the Christian community convincing musical and artistic productions that they can further comprehend and live out the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; and to display the need of a personal faith in Jesus Christ as both Savior and Lord to the contemporary audience.
