Primekss Rabine Presents Gresser Companies as a Licensee for PrimeComposite Jointless Concrete Flooring System
Innovative steel fiber reinforced concrete flooring system is jointless and stronger than traditional concrete slabs
Schaumburg, IL, July 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Rabine Primekss, an innovator in the concrete flooring industry, is excited to announce Gresser Companies as its newest licensee for PrimeComposite. Gresser Companies is licensed to engineer and install PrimeComposite in Minnesota, North and South Dakota, northern Iowa and western Wisconsin.
This innovative product is the first of it’s kind. PrimeComposite is stronger, more durable than traditional concrete floors, and it is seamless (no joints on a daily pour). PrimeComposite has virtually no shrinkage or cracking making it the ideal choice for distribution centers, food processing plants, automotive manufacturers and other facilities in which smooth, strong flooring is necessary.
Curling is inevitable on traditional concrete slabs at the joints and around the perimeter. This can cause the slab to disconnect with the base material, causing fractures. Curling increases maintenance and repair costs of forklifts, other equipment and the slab. In warehouses, forklifts crossing joints or cracks often cause the forks to scrape the floor and shake the machinery. High-reach stackers operate with decreased accuracy and require more maintenance, which impacts productivity. Often times, storage racks must be positioned and planned around uneven flooring. The no-curl, no-control joint properties of PrimeComposite reduce equipment maintenance costs, increase material handling productivity and allow storage racks to be placed and moved wherever needed.
PrimeComposite steel fiber-reinforced floors is eligible to earn LEED credits due to its many sustainability benefits over conventional concrete slabs. Less material is needed, hazardous silica dust from joint sawing is eliminated and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from cement production are reduced by up to 50 percent over traditional concrete slab floors.
Gresser’s experienced engineering team is trained to ensure that each PrimeComposite floor is designed to meet or exceed the requirements of each customer. The PrimeComposite floor is virtually maintenance free and has a significantly longer life cycle than conventional concrete slab floors. About a year ago, Gresser Companies placed nearly an acre of four inch thick PrimeComposite in their own facility in Shakopee, MN. A traditional concrete slab this thin would be broken up by now but PrimeComposite looks like it was placed yesterday.
Gresser Companies was founded by a craftsman nearly 50 years ago. The company attracts and keeps the best, most highly trained tradespeople, project managers and supervisors in the industry. Experienced people combined with advanced technology and old-world craftsmanship allows Gresser to provide top-quality finished products and meet or exceed difficult schedules and demanding requirements. These are just some of the reasons Primekss Rabine chose them as a licensee. For more information visit www.gresserco.com or call 651.454.5976.
Rabine Group CEO, Gary Rabine said, “Gresser Companies is one of the largest concrete floor, foundation and masonry providers in the Midwest. Mike Gresser and his team have always strived to be world class. His vision and values match Primekss Rabine perfectly and we are excited to welcome Gresser Companies as our new partner and licensee.”
