Little Women: LA, Tonya Banks Stars in Upcoming Summer Release, THE INTERNSHIP GAMES Written and Directed by Tania Zee

Los Angeles, CA, July 22, 2015 --(PR.com)-- On Tuesday, July 28, 2015, ITN Distribution Inc. will release THE INTERNSHIP GAMES (Bajan Film Works) via popular VOD platforms in three tiers. Foreign sales for all-rites distribution in sub-saharan Africa (excluding South Africa) and part of Asia are underway, along with DVD distribution to begin in the Fall. Written and directed by Tania Zee, the film stars Lifetime network’s hit TV show, “Little Women: LA,” Tonya Banks, as a formidable and enigmatic boss. With more than 30 years in the entertainment industry, Banks’ versatility will be seen in her new profound character.

THE INTERNSHIP GAMES is an urban spoof on “The Hunger Games” where college students compete for an internship at a company from hell. Tania Zee is proud to present the first movie with a female, little person as the lead, Tonya Banks standing at 4ft, star of Lifetime’s show, “Little Women: L.A.” The movie also features Guinness Record’s tallest female actress in a leading role, Lindsay Kay Hayward (TLC Network’s My Giant Life, R100) standing at 6’8 ¼” tall making film history to have such a dynamic duo. The cast also includes ‘six-foot-glamazon’ Tania Zee (2015 Non-Disclosed TV Pilot), Briana Manson of “Little Women: LA,” Leif Manson (Little Women: LA, Tosh.0, Survivor, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2) and notable web series stars.

Tania Zee was inspired by one of her favorite movies, “Bad Santa,” to create a memorable story of comedic wit. While working on her script, she had envisioned her lead to be a little person but did not secure Tonya Banks until well into the pre-production process. With the help of her all-female directing team and fellow military veteran crew, Zee was able to finish production on time. After gaining interest from the leading independent film distribution company, ITN Distribution INC’s, THE INTERNSHIP GAMES was able to secure a summer 2015 release in conjunction with the season 3 premiere of “Little Women: LA” on the Lifetime channel.
