Interior Decorator Liz Toombs Launches wE-Design to Give Do-It-Yourselfers the Support of a Pro
“With the popularity of Pinterest and HGTV, DIY continues to be a decorating trend,” says Toombs, who is the owner of Polka Dots & Rosebuds Interiors. “The DIY-er is all about keeping costs low, so wE-Design was created as an affordable way to get your dream look on a budget.”
Lexington, KY, July 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Does merely thinking about picking out paint colors, a new sofa or curtains completely stress you out? Or, maybe you like to DIY with decorating, but would love to bounce ideas off a pro. In both decorating scenarios, Certified Interior Decorator Liz Toombs has a solution to help a little… or a lot. She launches wE-Design to help people dream up their space with the help of a pro, while leaving the project execution to their personal timeline and budget.
Busting the myth that working with a decorator is expensive, Toombs adds that nearly all of the wE-Designed rooms are less than $500. Plus, the process is simple and fun; steps and deliverables include:
1. Filling out an interactive “Get Started” packet online. “You’ll measure your space, windows, doors, etc. and tell us which pieces are must-keeps. We also want to know about your style and the room(s) you want to decorate,” explains Toombs.
2. A one-on-one phone session with Toombs or a member of her team goes into more detail.
3. A design board is created, including a space plan and photos of selections that show the team’s vision. This includes color palettes, furniture selections and remodel looks.
4. Samples of any fabrics or other materials used in the space.
5. Step-by-step instructions and shopping list of where to buy specific materials and items.
6. A thumb drive with a digital copy of the design plan.
Not in the market for a decorating redo? Toombs suggests gifting wE-Design, “Newlyweds, first-time homeowners and new parents will love receiving the gift of a beautiful room that lasts for years.” A custom “Get Started” packet can be ordered and created for recipients. Toombs may be reached via e-mail and 859.552.5234.
