COMPanion Corporation announces a major update to their Alexandria Library Automation Software version 7–to release this weekend. Alexandria 7.15.1 offers improved performance and reliability, as well as numerous aesthetic and functionality enhancements.

Alexandria 7.15.1 offers improved performance and reliability, as well as numerous aesthetic and functionality enhancements.
Although some of the changes included with the latest version of Alexandria are to the backend of the software, COMPanion has taken extra measures to ensure all accounts have been fully updated.
Additional features Alexandria 7.15 offer students, teachers, and librarians include: implementation of a ‘Coming Due Notice’ to inform patrons in advance that items are due back to their library soon, an added ‘Days Overdue’ selection to the ‘Overdue and Unpaid Charges’ reports, enhanced ‘Severely Overdue Items Notice’ with ‘Patron Status Selection’, optional ‘Review by Rating’ only and ‘Sort by Rating’ is now available, as well as changes to ‘Catalog Utilities’ for simple MARC tag additions, removals, and modifications across a selection of titles was implemented.
Nothing is required for Alexandria Cloud-Hosted users, as COMPanion Corporation provides all data upgrades and maintenance for their customers.
