About Valerie Daugherty
Ms. Daugherty has over 30 years experience helping individuals through a nonprofit program. She is the Head of Program and Workforce Development for Dress for Success Louisville which is a nonprofit company promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and life in the Louisville, Kentucky area. She trains women for corporate human resources, interprets data and creates spread sheets. Ms. Daugherty is affiliated with the Career Outreach Program and Alpha Phi Sigma. She obtained a M.A. in Justice and Accounting from the University of Louisville and served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years. In her spare time she enjoys researching and mentoring.
