ClaimVantage to Exhibit at the 20th Annual DMEC Conference
The Annual DMEC conference is being held in the Marriott Marquis, San Francisco on August 2nd through 5th.
Portland, ME, July 26, 2015 --(PR.com)-- ClaimVantage is an international provider of Life, Health, and Absence claim processing solutions for Employers, Insurance Companies, and Third Party Administrators (TPA’s). ClaimVantage will be exhibiting the latest claim processing software at the 20th annual DMEC conference being held in the Marriott Marquis, San Francisco, CA on August 2nd through 5th.
DMEC focuses on providing members, and conference attendees with the tools necessary to improve disability and absence management processes. With FMLA and ADA regulations being continually updated, the complications of providing both federal and state leave laws concurrently, and the introduction of new leave laws, compliance is still relatively complicated. In fact, the 2014 DMEC leave management survey showed that employers rank these activities as difficult or extremely difficult:
1. 51% find it difficult to interact with the ADA when administering FMLA
2. 35% find it difficult to coordinate leaves with attendance policies
3. 33% find it difficult to coordinate state, or municipal leaves with FMLA
Automated absence management software, such as AbsenceDirect can be used to effectively manage the complicated combination of federal, state, and company specific leave laws. AbsenceDirect provides employers, insurance carriers, and TPA’s with an easy to use, cloud-based absence management platform. Incorporating all relevant leave types the system automatically determines eligibility based on configurable rules and workflows.
To further improve overall absence management efforts, ClaimVantage offers an integrated disability and absence management (IDM) solution. IDM offers numerous benefits for employers, insurance carriers and TPA’s, including:
· One claim examiner can now manage both FMLA and STD claims
· A reduction in operational efforts
· Improved efficiency of enhanced data collection and reporting
· The ability to concurrently track time
· Increased accuracy through the elimination of user error regarding eligibility
AbsenceDirect product manager, Angie Brown and ClaimVantage CEO, Leo Corcoran will be on hand to discuss latest industry trends, and technology updates throughout the conference.
