Exceptional Children's Foundation Receives Grant from the Capital Group Companies Charitable Foundation

Culver City, CA, July 26, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Exceptional Children’s Foundation (ECF) is pleased to announce the award of a grant from The Capital Group Companies Charitable Foundation. This grant for ECF’s Supported Employment Program will help provide an array of services to assist adults with developmental disabilities to gain employment and succeed in jobs in the community. The program offers interest assessments, job matching and placement, on-the-job training and support, and case management. Current job placements include the aerospace industry, retail, food service, janitorial services, and the automotive industry.

“This grant will allow us to maintain the great variety of employment opportunities available to our clients. Working in the community endows our clients with greater independence, increased self-confidence and a sense of belonging.
