Women in Travel Summit (WITS) Announces WITS ’16 Call for Speakers

Irvine, CA, July 29, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Wanderful has announced its call for speakers at the third annual Women in Travel Summit (WITS).

WITS is the first and only travel blogging summit by and for women. Its goal is to provide women travelers with the tools, connections, and resources they need to become better travel bloggers and entrepreneurs while growing its global sisterhood of dedicated women who travel. WITS ’16 will be held at the contemporary Hotel Irvine in Irvine, California from March 18-20, 2016. WITS is the creation of Wanderful, an international community and online resource for women who travel.

Approximately 300 attendees joined WITS ’15 this past March in Boston, Massachusetts, with 32 speakers from around the world. WITS ’16 expects a turnout of 500 international travelers, bloggers, and industry executives.

Applications to provide a one-hour presentation are now open to the public. The ideal speaker will have experience with topics that fall within the categories of traveling, blogging, and entrepreneurship. This may include beginner-level topics such as packing for a long excursion and basic social media skills, or more advanced topics like web development and content marketing.

WITS seeks to build a diverse speaker base that includes individuals who may not work directly in the travel industry. Marketing directors, CEOs, software engineers, professors who have lived or worked in a foreign country, or anyone else that feels they can bring value applicable to women travel media professionals are all welcome.
