Eric Byrnes Launches T Shirt for Pat Tillman Foundation with Athletes Brand
Former professional baseball player, Eric Byrnes, announced the release of a limited time only “What’s Next?” shirt to benefit the Pat Tillman Foundation (PTF) with Athletes Brand.
New York, NY, July 31, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Former professional baseball player, Eric Byrnes, announced the release of a limited time only “What’s Next?” shirt to benefit the Pat Tillman Foundation (PTF).
Now as an analyst at MLB Network, Eric is committed to living life the same way the late Pat Tillman did; by not dwelling on the past, and embracing the future with an attitude of “What’s Next?”
After Pat’s death in 2004, Eric, made sure he spoke about Pat and the sacrifice he made, every opportunity he had. When he met the Tillman family in 2006, Eric vowed to help them keep Pat’s name and legacy alive.
“From that day on, I knew I wanted to focus my individual fundraising efforts throughout the course of my entire life on the Pat Tillman Foundation. Without getting all nostalgic, between my connection to Pat through Bay Area high school sports, our mutual friend Zack Walz, and playing baseball professionally in a city in which he became an icon, I felt as if it was something in my life that I was meant to do, my small way to finally do more than talk. The foundation was founded on the basic principles that encompassed everything Pat Tillman represented. Education, leadership and loyalty,” says Byrnes.
The shirt will only be available at AthletesBrand.com/PAT from July 28th to August 10th, 2015 with proceeds benefiting Pat Tillman Foundation.
“Our aim is to help Eric share the story of Pat Tillman with as many people as possible. We’ve set a goal of 20 million people in 2 weeks,” said Athletes Brand Founder, Kyle Mauch. “Reaching even one person to become personally involved with the Pat Tillman Foundation would make this campaign a success in our efforts to help our military men and women.”
