Windsor Lawyer Calls for Inquest Following Crashes and Fatalities on Highway 3
In an effort to prevent further tragedy and death along a dangerous stretch of highway, Greg Monforton & Partners look to the coroner for answers and possible solutions.
Windsor, Canada, July 30, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Windsor lawyer Greg Monforton today announced that his law firm, Greg Monforton & Partners, has been retained by Nahim Ibrahim, the 45-year-old Lakeshore resident seriously injured when an oncoming car swerved into his lane on July 15, 2015.
The driver of the oncoming car was killed. The crash occurred on a controversial stretch of Highway 3 in Kingsville, Ontario.
Monforton’s firm has also been consulted by three families of victims of the April 29, 2015 crash on the same stretch of Highway 3. Two fatalities resulted from this crash.
“I am astonished that so many fatalities continue to occur on this stretch of highway,” Monforton said.
“How many more tragedies have to occur before the safety of this roadway is more thoroughly examined? Perhaps it is time to extend the divided portion of Highway 3 through all of Essex, Kingsville and Leamington?”
Monforton is calling for a coroner’s inquest to determine what happened to cause these deaths and to suggest what can be done to prevent similar deaths in the future.
