Copper & Kings American Brandy Co. Hosts "A History of American Brandy"
Historians Michael Veach and Renae Price present educational seminar.
Louisville, KY, August 06, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Louisville-based Copper & Kings American Brandy Co. is hosting an educational seminar on the history of brandy distillation and consumption in America Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 4 p.m. The historical research was conducted by esteemed bourbon historian Michael Veach and partner Renae Price.
Veach and Price will share their research in the art gallery at Copper & Kings, 1121 E. Washington St. The event is followed by entertainment, small bites and brandy libations, including vintage and classic cocktails, on the Copper & Kings Skydeck with gorgeous views of downtown Louisville.
“We believe that American brandy can stand shoulder to shoulder with American whiskey and superior international brandy in terms of provenance and quality,” said Copper & Kings founder Joe Heron. “Our intention is to help start the conversation by helping establish credible historical credentials for American brandy and its place in American history. We will universally share this research and hopefully it will grow substantially and continually over time. It will always be a work in progress.”
“From coast-to-coast, the History of America can be uniquely painted by brandy distillers and their use of America’s agricultural abundance. It is a ‘spirited’ story that is both romantic and adventurous,” said Veach.
Attendance is limited. Please contact "mailto:Brandyhaus@CopperAndKings.com" Brandyhaus@CopperAndKings.com to request a ticket free of charge.
