The Travelers Protective Association Names Altruism Award Winners
Missouri-based non-profit agency selects seven Pennsylvania high school recipients at annual program.
St. Louis, MO, August 08, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Travelers Protective Association (TPA), a fraternal benefit society headquartered in Missouri, recently honored seven students at its annual Post E Pennsylvania Division high school altruism award program. The seniors were selected for the services they performed for others in terms of their time and talent.
Students included Troy Buckley, Lebanon Catholic High School; Scarla Collado, Lebanon Senior High School; Cadyn Elliott, Annville-Cleona High School; Trinh Nguyen, Cedar Crest High; Olivia Perone, Palmyra High School; Leanne Superdock, ELCO High School, and; Sarah Whitman, Northern Lebanon High School.
“We are very proud of these remarkable students, and this award is our way of letting them know how much we appreciate the time and knowledge they give to their communities,” said TPA’s Chief Administrative Officer Albert M. Shoemaker, Jr. “We also are extremely grateful for the dedication and work efforts put forth by the Pennsylvania Division’s volunteers who created a wonderful program to remember.”
Founded in 1890, TPA’s national headquarters is located at 2041 Exchange Dr. in St. Charles, Mo. The association is licensed in 29 states and has over 26,000 members, which includes more than 17,000 members who have been a part of the organization for more than 25 years. TPA offers fraternalism to its members, as well as participates in safety projects and community service. The association provides accident, disability and death benefits to both its members and their beneficiaries.
