She volunteers with the Breast Cancer Foundation and March of Dimes, and was co-chair of the Atlanta Special Olympics, which was held at Emory, and served as Chair of the Morningside Monumental Ball in 2012.
When not at work, Russell enjoys music (natch), tennis and boating, and spending time with her family, husband Mark who is a real estate appraiser, and two college-aged daughters. The family has two dogs, Raphie and Yoshi, and resides in Morningside.
