Church On The Other Side, a project of the Lancaster Mennonite Conference, is working to network, equip and resource church planters, missional experimenters and everyone in between.

This specific event from Church On The Other Side, will feature a theme of Missional Team Building, designed for churches and church planters that are beginning the conversation on journeying to missional, from traditionally institutional. During this event we will talk about recruitment, maintaining and training. There will be plenty of stories shared by others and times designed for conversation.

This event will feature two main speakers assigned with specific content and contexts in mind, those include local missional practitioners Jeff McLain and Josef Berthold.

Jeff McLain will be discussing building teams and skills to transition from institutional to missional. Josef Berthold will be addressing how to maintain a missional edge after you are started on the journey. He will also look to answer questions on how to maintain our missional edge against the pressures that attempt to us back to attractional or traditional church models.

Following the morning sessions and conversation which take place in a social space context, lunch will be provided by donation. Attendees are encouraged to consider staying for lunch and engage their story and contexts through personal space. Presentations will be video taped and made available online at a later date. No registration is needed.
