Kelly E. Capolino Announces 2016 Diamond Volunteer Program is Now Accepting Applications
Applications are now being accepted for the 2016 Diamond Volunteer Awards. The volunteer recognition program has been honoring local non-profit organizations for their work in Collier County for the past six years.
Naples, FL, August 14, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Applications are now being accepted for the 2016 Diamond Volunteer Awards. The volunteer recognition program has been honoring local non-profit organizations for their work in Collier County for the past six years.
The Diamond Volunteer Awards Program was founded by Kelly E. Capolino, local real estate professional with Downing-Frye Realtors. Her program honors volunteers of local non-profit agencies for their efforts to improve the community while helping change the lives of many.
Three organizations are chosen each year to receive the Diamond Volunteer Award. Winners receive a cocktail reception for volunteers and board members, media coverage, educational opportunities, a framed award and inclusion in the Diamond Volunteer rewards program.
Past winners have included:
2010 - Baby Basics of Collier County, Penny Bear Company, and Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida
2011 - Hope for Haiti, Bedtime Bundles, Sunlight Home, and Senior Friendship Center
2012 - Eden Autism Services, Miracles in Action, and Project HELP Crisis Center
2013 - Naples Civitan Club, Safe & Healthy Children's Coalition of Collier County, and The Brody Project for Animal Assisted Therapy
2014 - Angel Undercover of Collier County, Inc., Immokalee Housing and Family Services, and Shy Wolf Sanctuary
2015 - Naples Equestrian Challenge, Inc., PACE Center for Girls, Inc - Collier, and Pilot Club of Naples
Applications for the 2016 Diamond Volunteer Award are now being accepted from Collier County non-profit organizations who work to make a positive impact in the community.
To apply - email a one-page case statement about the non-profit organization along with who should be honored (i.e. – board members, special events volunteers, etc.) and include why the award would be important to the organization. Send the one-page statement to: DiamondVolunteers@gmail.com before October 15. Winners will be selected by a panel of local business professionals and winners will notified on or before November 15, 2015.
